What is inside?

Edited by Sir John Thomas Gilbert and Lady Gilbert and published by Dublin Corporation in 19 volumes between 1889 and 1944 The Calendar of Ancient Records of Dublin is an invaluable resource to historians and genealogists. The Calendar contains transcripts and translations of documents from the city's archives for the period 1171 to 1841. This particular volume contains the Assembly Rolls for the city of Dublin covering the years 1610-1651 and in the index the ‘Civic arrangements in relation to plague and pest-house 1604-05’. This is the second volume of this series to be made available to purchase from the Irish Family History Centre research library with more to follow.
