Expert Genealogist and Researcher

As a genealogist and researcher, it is my privilege to work with people from all over the world who share a common desire that I can personally relate to – that is, to feel the sense of connection that comes from knowing who we are, where we come from and maybe even being able to walk in the footsteps of our ancestors. I am very dedicated to helping clients achieve that.

Genealogy began as a hobby for me.  Professionally, I have a legal background as an employment law and human resources specialist. I later obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies from the University of Strathclyde, and then made a complete career change to focus on genealogy as more than just a dedicated pastime.

An unanticipated consequence of my genealogy role is that I spend much more time in old cemeteries than I ever imagined I would, which can inspire some interesting conversations!

Being from Northern Ireland, I also particularly enjoy having the opportunity to work with people who have ancestral roots in the Ulster counties.
